Day 1:
Early departure from Arusha for a game drive in Tarangire National Park. In the dry season Tarangire is teeming with elephant, wildebeest and zebra and is known for wonderful leopard sightings. Continue to the highland town of Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:
Depart for the World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Crater. After a game drive and lunch in the crater continue on to Serengeti National Park
Day 3:
Full day’s game driving in Serengeti National Park.
Day 4:
Visit the famous Olduvai Gorge, site of year’s of excavation works by the Leakey family and various universities. Learn about the anthropology of man’s earliest ancestors. In the evening return to the beautiful highland area around Karatu.

 
Day 5:
Enjoy a day trip to the Lake Eyasi area where you’ll visit with the remaining tribe of Bushmen in East Africa, the Wa-Haadzabe. Return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 6:
Hike in the nearby forest adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Day 7:
Full day’s game drive with picnic lunch in the diverse Lake Manyara National Park. Return to Arusha by evening.
