Ndutu Safari Lodge
The most established accommodation in the southern Serengeti, owner operated Ndutu Lodge is the favoured place for wildlife filmmakers and photographers. Situated in beautiful acacia woodland between Lakes Ndutu and Masek, the lodge has thirty-four stone and thatch cottages and a comfortable lounge, bar and dining area. Landscaped with only natural flora found in the area, this is the perfect place from which to view the migration from December to May and resident “Big Five” year round.
Mbalageti is a popular destination in the western corridor of the Serengeti. There is a variety of accommodation to choose from ranging from standard rooms to suites. The lodge is strategically located for viewing the migration at certain times of year. There is a popular pool set in a beautiful location.
Kirawira is located in the western corridor of Serengeti National Park near the Grumeti River and ideally situated for the famous river crossings. This ultra luxury permanent tented camp, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World group, has stunning views to the west, great service and elegant twin dining tents. The twenty-five rooms are spaced for privacy and there is a gift shop, business centre and WiFi. The Grumeti airstrip is nearby making flying in and out to avoid long dusty drives easy.
